Ashby Fields Primary School is a two-form entry community primary school. We have a commitment to inclusive education and strive to maintain a high-quality teaching and learning environment for all children.  We place a high value on establishing close links between home and school so that we can effectively work together to achieve the best for each child. We have a committed and hardworking team who are working together to raise and improve standards.

Parents are encouraged to share in their child's progress at open evenings, through consultation with their child's class teacher, by viewing their child's work and through three annual written reports.  Parents are always welcome in the school. There are many opportunities to share in special events across the year, such as assemblies and concerts. We also keep you informed about school life through our weekly newsletters, school website and Twitter
