We have thought very carefully about our role in the school and we have created our own mission statement that describes why we have a School Council.
The purpose of our School Council is to encourage children to get involved in issues that concern them, in and around the school. It is our aim to promote a happy, safe and fair environment for all children.
We believe many voices should be heard. We will focus on listening to the views of all the children and report regularly to our classes about the work of the School Council.
To make sure that our school is a safe and happy place to be.
To make sure that children have a place to voice their opinions and concerns.
To encourage all children in the school to suggest improvements.
To make sure any concerns are listened to and acted upon.
