The Head Teacher and Governors of Ashby Fields Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced. enthusiastic, empathetic and resilient Family Worker to join our team as soon as possible on a permanent basis.
The role of the Family Worker is to assist in tackling underachievement by working in partnership with families, parents, carers and children and young people in our school context. The focus of the role is to engage with children and their families within the school context to support positive choices and healthy relationships by developing groups and 1:1 support opportunity. The Family Worker will work with families in a non-judgemental way empowering them to access support services and educational opportunities, overcoming barriers to learning and participation, and impacting positively on outcomes for children.

The Breakfast Club role will involve working from 7.30 am until 8.45 am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
